St George's Day - celebration day!

St George's Day at the Club proves to be another superb day at Crawley Green. With more and more people around the country celebrating their "Englishness" it appears that members of our Club are no different - even the Scottish members seem to enjoy the occasion!

The Club was packed for the evening and to make matters even better the Hatters had, earlier in the day, won the League 1 Championship - at Wrexham, in Wales!

Not only that but Crawley Green FC, under the managership of Gary King, had secured the Club's first adult league championship earlier in the day! Celebrations all round!

Contestants enter the "Yard of Ale" competition - but John McLoughlin (immediately above) retained his championship with an outstanding exhibition of downing "free" ale in the quickest time!
