All change at Crawley football
As with all football clubs we have good news and bad
news.
The good news is that we now have a new Sunday football
manager.
Colin Neufville (formerly with Hexton) has agreed
to take over the Sunday first team as we try to rebuild after a disastrous
season. We wish Colin every success in his new role with us.

His assistant manager will be our former goalscoring
ace
Grant Carney (above).
Also joining us is Neil Dunnegan who will support
Colin in an administrative role at the Club.
Thanks go to Jim Betts who had been offered the
Sunday job, but offered to stand down for the benefit of the Club. Jim
will now concentrate on bringing the youngsters through as the third team
on a Sunday. Jim already has his plate full as he is now in charge of
the U18 midweek league team as well as Luton Schools.
Virgil Blennerhasset, resumes his managerial
skills as he takes on the challenge of running the second team.
We all hope for a vast improvement this season.

The bad news is that Gary King (above) , the
most successful Saturday manager in the Club's short history, has had
to stand down due to work commitments. Gary has offered to be still
involved and more news as to his replacement is hopefully expected this
weekend. We thank Gary for an oustanding contribution, both on Saturdays
and Sundays.

Current player John Coley (above) has expressed
an interest in taking on the challenge and this could be confirmed within
the next two weeks.
Other news is that the Club is running a fourth girls
team.
Further information when it is at hand.
