Beds Inaugural Mini Soccer Festival

Crawley Green entered four teams in the Beds FA Inaugural County, Mini Soccer festival on Saturday 3rd July at Leighton United FC, Tilsworth.

The youngsters shelter from the weather early on in the day.
The tournament is about fair play not just winning games and was the first appearance in any competition for our girls U10s. Despite being younger than most of the more experienced opposition the youngsters did Crawley proud with their performance.

The U12's girls, despite being a player short for all the tournament, also put in an excellent performance.

Congratulation to Jez Cove's team as his U11a won the fair play award for the U11s group. The prize included a trophy, medals and a McDonalds training bag containing footballs etc for the team.
