Sunday sides presentation evening
14 May 2004
The Sunday sides rounded off their season with their annual presentation
evening which proved once again to be a huge success.
The first team had a disappointing season finishing third from bottom
after last year's impressive runners-up spot in the Premiership, going
out in the first round of the National Cup and having disappointing runs
in the local Cups.
The second team finished a creditable runners-up in Division 1 this
year but felt they could and should have done better - too many drawn
games being their downfall.
The Division 1 Runners-up trophies won by the Reserves, supplied by
the North Home Counties League, were presented to Gary King (Manager)
and his team by Keith Keane (below) of Luton Town FC (picture

The third team (their first season in the league) finished a creditable
halfway up the league and reached a cup semi-final, so things bode well
for the future.

The remaining trophies awarded by the club were presented to the individuals
by John Doyle, Crawley Green Football Development Officer (above).
Mrs Shirley Williams prepared a superb buffet and we thank her
for her efforts.
