U11s make it a breeze at the beach

Crawley Green U11s continued their super season by picking up
yet another trophy!

Over the bank holiday weekend our youngsters visited
Great Yarmouth for a 2-day football tournament at the seaside town and breezed through the weekend - playing 8 matches, conceded only one goal and then walking away with a trophy
as big as some of their players!

They young maroons beat teams from Leicester, London,
Kent and Suffolk in order to reach the final where they played against local rivals Leighton.

Despite dominating the game Crawley failed to find the fatal finish and the game went to penalties - with hero Taishan Griffith scoring the decisive sixth spot kick - and bringing another trophy back to the Clubhouse.

Everyone enjoyed the weekend and once again these youngsters upheld the good name of the Club at junior level.
