Crawley Girls U13s secure a
hatrick of double success
Another good day for the girls section as Crawley
Girls U13s convincingly winning the League Cup with a 5-0 demolition
of
St Martins Girls - making it a hat-trick of league and cup doubles!
A hatrick from Amber Eden and goals from Senel
Chapman and Hayley Watson saw Crawley Green rout out convincing
winners and
this win secured a League and Cup double for the third consecutive season,
unprecedented in the history of the girls' sectionClub.
Playing good football it did not take long to open the
scoring and from then on it was one-way traffic as the girls made it a
league and cup double for the third consecutive year - unprecedented in
the Club's history!

Crawley Girls U13s collect their individual winners
medals . . .

. . . before posing proudly for a team pic and
the cup!
It was an exciting day for the girls section all round.
Previously to the U14 girls winning the cup the U12s
put up a terrific display but finally losing 2-1 in their league cup final.
Later on the Girls U17s reached their League Cup final
by doing it the hard way. Leading 2-0 at one time the visitors pulled
the game back to two before extra time.
With the result still level after this extra time period
the game went down to penalties with the maroons winning through as the
opposition missed with the very last kick.
