Chiltern Junior 7s League Cup
Final
Crawley Green U10 2 Warden Hill Tigers U10 1
Following last week's U8s cup final win, Crawley Green
U10s
secured the second piece of silverware after defeating Warden Hill Tigers
2-1 in a closely fought contest.
Kicking against the wind in the first half, Crawley
took the lead and went into half-time in a confident mood.

Crawley press home another attack only to be foiled
by the
Warden Hill Tiger's goalkeeper who made two terrific saves.

Outnumbered but our Crawley youngster still manages
to cause problems in the Warden area.
However, with the wind in their advantage Crawley stopped
playing their passing game relying on the wind to gain ground advantage.
Warden Hill took advantage of this and deservedly drew level after taking
command of the game in the second period.

Crawley score their second and winning goal late
in the second half.
Crawley's keeper then pulled of two superb saves to
keep the scores level and then the took broke away to score what was the
winning goal.

The youngsters show their enthusiasm as the winning
goal goes in!

Crawley U10 CJ7s Cup Final winners pose with the
trophy.
A terrific game played in the right way by both teams
and the players were a credit to their Clubs.
