Kevin Blackwell at CG Nursery
Thursday, 14th June 2007

This week, Luton Town manager, Kevin Blackwell,
paid a visit to Crawley Green to see how we run our successful Nursery
Section.
Kevin hopes to forge links with the Club, nursery
and youth section and expects to be sending coaches on a regular basis,
not only to help coach our youngsters but also improve the skills of our
coaches.
Please also make a note we are now in a position to accept more Reception
Year and Year 1 children on Tuesdays 5.45pm until 6.45pm.
Please note: shin pads
must be worn, no blades or removable studs - moulded or trainers only.
Children attending these sessions must bring their own drinks and dress
to suit weather conditions.
All for just £1.00. Why not get involved, see your youngster
improve his or her skills - and have the chance to get involved yourself!
On another note:
We as a Nursery are a big team that coaches every week free of charge,
we supply the community with coaching for interested children for a nominal
cost of just £1.00 per session.
All our coaches are qualified in first aid,
have their backgrounds police checked and have passed coaching badges.
Then I coerce parents to become involved and hopefully to gain skills
and qualifications to become managers at Crawley - eg
Ian Loveday, Danny Bonner, Chris, Andy and so on.
The Chairman describes the Nursery Section in all his presentations
as the "jewel in the crown" of Crawley Green.
