U10s earn their spurs
Thursday, 25th July 2007
Our newly formed under 10s visited Premier club Tottenham
Hotspur's training ground on Tuesday night to play against their under
10s accademy team.
Despite four of our boys only flying back from a tournament
in Finland with Luton Town's performance squad late the previous night,
they played extremely well and managed a 0-0 draw and a 1-0 loss in the
two games they played against Spurs.

Coaches Alan McCabe (left) and John Dudmish
are pictured at the Spurs training ground after the U10s aquitted themselves
well against
the Tottenham academy team.
The youngsters also won 1-0 and lost 1-0 in two other
games they played against a team from Harringey, London.
The Spurs staff commented afterwards to coaches John
Dudmish and Alan McCabe on how impressed they were with the
quality of the football and the behavior of all the boys. The excited
boys were then given a brief tour of the training ground before getting
to play their matches inside Tottenham's vast training dome. The game
was organised by one of Tottenham's scouts after he had watched the team
win the Hayes FC tournament in Uxbridge two weeks ago. Next up is Arsenal,
where we hope to play in a couple of weeks.
The youngsters continue to represent the club in the
best possible manner and they are a credit to the coaches, Alan and John.
