Crawley Girls win first silverware

Crawley Green U12 girls became the first girls team to win silverware in the Club's colours after a terrific win in the league cup final again Leighton United in what was a thrilling match.

The history making team saw goals from Amber Eden (2) and
Senel Chapman end Leighton United's hopes with the 3-2 victory
at Vauxhall Brache. The Chiltern Junior Sevens Girls U12 League Cup now takes pride of place at Crawley. A great achievement for manager Nora Moran after many years of encouraging girls to participate in the sport - especially after last week's disappointing final result for the younger girls.
