Another success for the girls

Yet another Crawley Green success was recorded yesterday when Crawley Green Girls U10s won the Chiltern Junior 7s Girls U10s league.

Needing to win their last game against Sandy Colts to secure the title the girls ran out convincing winners with a 9-0 victory.

The goals were scored by Donna Penman (3), Lauren Porter (3), Megan Bartlett (2) and Omara Poulson.

This makes the second trophy the girls' teams have secured this season, plus a losing cup final, making it the best season yet since Nora Moran started the girls' section.

With this fast-growing section of our football club, we hope that this is just the start of more success for our girls.
