Bedford v Crawley Green

After a goal less first half Crawley progressed into the ¼ Final of the Beds Senior Cup with a comfortable 4-0 win against Bedford who finished the game with 8 men.
Crawley took the lead in the 46th when Robbie O’Dell converted a penalty awarded for hand ball.
Just after the hour James Potter scored directly from a corner to double Crawley’s lead.  Bedford then pressed the self destruct button and managed to get 3 players sent off in 5 minutes.  The first red was shown for a second yellow when James Dickson was fouled and 2 other Bedford players took an early bath for abusing the officials.
Crawley made it 3 from a second penalty scored by Robbie O’Dell and Luke Singleton completed the scoring n the final minute with a fine solo effort.


Next week Crawley Green entertain Amersham Town.
