Crawley Green 3
Totternhoe 1

Bedfordshire Senior Trophy
First Round
Crawley Green v Totternhoe

Crawley Green progressed into the Second Round of the Beds Senior Trophy with a hard fought 3-1 victory against local rivals Totternhoe.

Totternhoe started brightly but it was Crawley who took the lead in the 8th minute lead when Luke Singleton finished a flowing 3 man move.
The lead was short lived and Henry Mungwira deservedly put Totternhoe back on level terms after 10 minutes.

Crawley were quickly out of the blocks in the second half and restored their lead after 48 minutes when Grant Carney headed in a cross from James Potter.

Despite dominating Crawley struggled to kill the game off through a mixture of poor finishing and fine keeping from Totternhoe's Brett Scott.

Victory was finally secured 10 minutes from time when Robbie O'Dell broke through to set up an easy tap in for Rian MacDonald.  In the next round Crawley will play Bedford who were 1-0 winners against Brache Sparta.

Next Saturday Crawley entertain unbeaten Holmer Green.
